Dr hab. inż. Ewelina Kusiak-Nejman, prof. ZUT

Ewelina Kusiak-Nejman defended her doctoral thesis titled “Preparation and research of TiO2/C photocatalysts for water and wastewater purification” in the discipline of chemical technology with a specialization in inorganic technology in 2013 at the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin. In 2020, she received the habilitated doctor degree in the field of engineering and technical sciences in the discipline of chemical engineering. The research scope of Ewelina Kusiak-Nejman includes the use of adsorption-assisted photocatalysis processes in the purification of water and air from inorganic, organic, and microbiological pollutants.

Ewelina Kusiak-Nejman has 86 publications on the JCR list, 21 patents to her name, and between 2019-2022 led the PhotoFiber project, financed under the Lider IX program, and was the leader of task 2 within the Polish-Norwegian project PhotoRed, carried out in 2020-2024. Professor Kusiak-Nejman also actively participated in the implementation of other projects of national and international character (including projects within the OPUS and MAESTRO 3 competitions).
