The 9th Szczecin Symposium of Young Chemists

The Szczecin Branch of the Polish Chemical Society and the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering of West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin organized the 9th Szczecin Symposium of Young Chemists, which took place on May 14, 2024, in the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering building.

Students from the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, and the Poznań University of Technology, together with PhD candidates and young scientists, attended the event.

Dr. Grzegorz Leniec gave the first lecture about the life and scientific work of Prof. Jan Czochralski.

The speakers also included Mr. Konrad Sobczuk, who gave a lecture on the topic “Comparison of photo- and electrocatalytic properties of titanium dioxide (P25) modified with ammonia gas and d-block metal compounds.” The presented research results were carried out as part of the Iinitiative No. FWD-Green-3.
